You'll be responsible for:
- Ensure the continuous availability and optimal performance of the Splunk platform, which is critical to business operations.
- Enhance and maintain robust monitoring of infrastructure systems.
- Perform comprehensive administrative tasks across Splunk components, including installation, configuration, maintenance, updates, and documentation.
- Design and implement efficient data collection strategies, tailored to specific technologies or unique business needs.
- Address and resolve user requests and incidents related to infrastructure and business applications.
- Promote the proper use of the Splunk platform and provide user support through guidance and training.
- Execute Proofs of Concept (POCs) to identify and implement opportunities for platform enhancements.
- Maintain contact with the Splunk vendor for case management and ongoing support, including handling Operational Data Store (ODS) requirements.
