In collaboration with a leading client in the logistics sector, we are searching for a Senior Data Engineer/Lead to join on an initial 6 month contract with potential to convert to permanent.

Key Responsibilities:
- Work on the migration from Talend to DBT, ensuring seamless integration
- Design, develop and optimise scalable data pipelines, schemas and processes for our new data warehouse
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams in delivering high-quality data solutions
- Support and advance data mesh initiatives, enabling decentralised and scalable data ownership
Ideal Profile:
- 5+ years of experience in data engineering, with expertise in modern data tools and frameworks
- Strong background in data architecture and development of end-to-end data solutions
- Proficiency in DBT or similar modern data transformation tools
- Experience in design and implement new data warehouses and schemas
- Experience with data mesh concepts and distributed data ownership
- Collaborative mindset, with excellent communication skills and the ability to work effectively in a team
