- Our customer is one of France's and Europe's biggest Banking Group! They have 150 million customers globally, with their HQ in Paris and Lyon.
- Due to a lack of internal availability, client looking to freelance market for external expertise.
- Client offers a great opportunity for a long-term engagement, when you finish on this project, if they have the availability, they will propose you for another project.
- We have been partners with this client for over 3.5 years and work with them all across Europe! We have consultants working within the team at present.
Job Details
Microsoft UC Engineer
- Primary responsibilities of this position will include, carrying out Level 2/3 operations on the customers VOIP infrastructure. You will be speaking with customers directly completing high level trouble shooting in both France and abroad (English and French), you will also be helping them to migrate their Telephony systems over to MS Teams Telephony, they do have a dedicated team for this, but you will have the opportunity to support them on this.
- Working with teams in Paris and Lyon with 10-15 other engineers on the infrastructure, covering Microsoft, Cisco and Alcatel Technologies (This position is to specifically work on their Microsoft team)
- The customer you will be supporting are based all over Europe (UK, France, Portugal, Germany and Italy)
- In total, the customer has over 200,000 staff globally and as a result they have this many end points to support and will require some shift work (nothing over night, just on occasion an early start or late finish)
- No certifications are required for the position but any relevant Microsoft, VOIP, AD or Systems Administration certificates will certainly support your application.
- There is a huge opportunity for extension, whether it is with this specific customer or with another project, if you are happy with the work you are doing and they are happy with the work your producing there will be the options for extension.
