Our client, a leading organization within the Cyber & Security sector is seeking to hire an experienced Information Security Analyst for their office located in Houston. The successful candidate will be responsible for analyzing and implementing security measures to protect the company's computer systems and networks from cyber-attacks.
Qualifications:
Education:
- Bachelor's degree or higher in Computer Science, IT or relevant field
Experience:
- Minimum 5 years of experience working with information security
Skills:
- Expert knowledge of cybersecurity frameworks such as NIST CSF.
- Experience creating incident response plans
- In-depth understanding of threat intelligence platforms
- Strong communication skills that can convey technical concepts clearly
Responsibilities (but not limited to):
The following are some key responsibilities that come along with this position;
* Conduct vulnerability assessments on existing applications
* Develop policies and procedures related to data protection standards
* Analyze network traffic patterns using various tools like Wireshark
* Monitor system logs looking out for any suspicious activities
Salary package:$155000 per annum+benefits
