A leading prop-trading firm is seeking an highly technical IAM Engineer to join a strong security team and lead the development of a greenfield IAM program. The ideal candidate will have a comprehensive understanding of IAM principles and practices, as well as the ability to identify and implement the most suitable IAM tools and solutions to meet our enterprise objectives.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement an IAM strategy that aligns with enterprise objectives and ensures the security and privacy of our systems and data.
- Design and build IAM solutions that meet business requirements and comply with regulatory standards.
- Evaluate and select IAM tools and technologies that best fit the firm's needs, considering factors such as scalability, security, and cost-effectiveness. Examples include Okta, Azure Active Directory (AAD), Ping Identity, CyberArk, and Duo Security.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate IAM solutions into existing systems and processes.
- Provide technical expertise and guidance to team members and stakeholders on IAM best practices and standards.
- Develop and maintain documentation related to IAM policies, procedures, and configurations.
- Stay current with industry trends and advancements in IAM technologies and practices.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in IAM engineering or a related field.
- Comprehensive understanding of IAM principles, practices, and technologies.
- Hands-on experience with IAM tools such as Okta, Azure Active Directory (AAD), Ping Identity, CyberArk, and Duo Security.
- Familiarity with at least one programming/scripting language (ie. Python).
- Strong knowledge of Windows OS required; additional Linux and/or MacOS experience preferred.
- Strong knowledge of regulatory standards related to IAM, such as GDPR, HIPAA, etc.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- IAM certifications (e.g., CISSP, CISM, etc.) preferred.
