Glocomms is partnered with a leading business enablement firm seeking a highly skilled IAM Engineer to join their dynamic team. This company is dedicated to empowering businesses through innovative solutions and cutting-edge technology, ensuring clients achieve their strategic goals efficiently and securely.
The IAM Engineer will be responsible for designing, implementing, and managing the company's Identity and Access Management (IAM) systems. This role requires a deep understanding of AWS IAM, Active Directory Domain Services, Microsoft Entra ID, and related components. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of managing complex IAM environments and ensuring the security and integrity of the company's IT infrastructure.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design, implement, and manage IAM solutions to support business requirements and security policies.
- Administer and maintain AWS IAM, Active Directory Domain Services, and Microsoft Entra ID environments.
- Develop and enforce IAM policies, standards, and procedures.
- Perform regular audits and assessments of IAM systems to ensure compliance with security standards.
- Integrate IAM solutions with other enterprise systems using SCIM REST API, SAML, OAuth, and OIDC.
- Implement and manage Kerberos authentication and Privileged Access Management (PAM) solutions.
- Troubleshoot and resolve IAM-related issues and incidents.
- Provide technical guidance and support to internal teams and stakeholders.
- Stay current with industry trends and best practices in IAM and cybersecurity.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in IAM engineering or a related role.
- Strong expertise in AWS IAM, Active Directory Domain Services, and Microsoft Entra ID.
- Experience with IAM tools and technologies such as SSO, MFA, and identity federation.
- Proficiency in scripting and automation (e.g., PowerShell, Python).
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Relevant certifications (e.g., AWS Certified Security - Specialty, Microsoft Certified: Identity and Access Administrator Associate).
- Experience with cloud security and hybrid environments.
- Knowledge of regulatory requirements and compliance standards (e.g., GDPR, HIPAA).
