Our client is a seeking a highly skilled and experienced Director of Engineering with a strong background in Knowledge Graphs and graph technology. This role will be pivotal in driving the development and implementation of advanced graph-based solutions to enhance our digital identity verification and fraud prevention capabilities.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and manage a team of engineers focused on developing and optimizing Knowledge Graphs and graph-based technologies.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including data science, product management, and operations, to design and implement scalable graph solutions.
- Drive the architecture, design, and development of graph databases and related technologies to support our product offerings.
- Ensure the reliability, performance, and security of graph-based systems.
- Stay current with industry trends and advancements in Knowledge Graphs and graph technology, and apply this knowledge to improve our solutions.
- Mentor and develop engineering talent, fostering a culture of innovation and continuous improvement.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
- 10+ years of experience in software engineering, with at least 5 years in a leadership role.
- Proven expertise in Knowledge Graphs, graph databases (e.g., Neo4j, Amazon Neptune), and graph-based algorithms.
- Strong understanding of data structures, algorithms, and software design principles.
- Experience with large-scale data processing and distributed systems.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to think critically and strategically.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with diverse teams.
