My Client is a leading company in the technology space committed to leveraging cutting-edge technology to drive innovation and excellence. Their cloud infrastructure is based on Microsoft Azure, and they are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Cloud Security Director to lead their cloud security initiatives.
The Cloud Security Director will be responsible for overseeing the security of their cloud infrastructure, Overseeing 3 teams of security professionals, and ensuring the implementation of robust security measures. This role requires a strategic thinker with a deep understanding of cloud security, particularly within the Microsoft Azure environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Recruit, mentor, and manage teams of cloud security professionals.
- Conduct regular performance reviews and provide feedback to team members.
- Develop and implement training programs to enhance the team's skills and knowledge.
- Foster a collaborative and inclusive team culture, encouraging innovation and continuous improvement.
- Allocate resources effectively to ensure the successful completion of security projects and initiatives.
- Work with cross-functional teams to define product roadmaps, features, and requirements for cloud security solutions.
- Ensure alignment of security initiatives with overall business objectives.
- Spearhead the implementation of robust policies, compliance frameworks, and threat detection mechanisms across Azure cloud security environments, including edge protection.
- Oversee the development and implementation of policies and procedures to comply with industry regulations and standards.
- Create comprehensive technical and process documentation for configurations, policies, and incident response procedures.

Projects that the successful candidate will be doing:
Deployment of Cloud Native Application Protection Platform in a Global Context:
- Lead the design and implementation of a Cloud Native Application Protection Platform (CNAPP) to secure applications across multiple regions.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration and deployment.
- Monitor and optimize the performance of the CNAPP to meet security and compliance requirements
Data Protection, Encryption Strategy for MoveToCloud Program:
- Develop and implement a comprehensive data protection and encryption strategy for the MoveToCloud program.
- Ensure that data is securely transferred, stored, and accessed within the cloud environment.
- Stay updated on the latest encryption technologies and best practices to enhance data security.
Zero Trust Strategy & Roadmap:
- Define and execute a Zero Trust security strategy and roadmap for the organization.
- Implement Zero Trust principles to ensure secure access to cloud resources.
- Continuously assess and improve the Zero Trust framework to address emerging threats and vulnerabilities.
Cloud Security Audits:
- Conduct regular cloud security audits to identify and mitigate potential risks.
- Develop and maintain audit processes and documentation to ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations.
- Provide detailed reports and recommendations to senior management based on audit findings.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Security, or a related field. A master's degree is preferred.
- Strong experience in Microsoft Azure Cloud security
- Proven experience in managing and leading security teams.
- Strong knowledge of cloud security frameworks, tools, and best practices.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Relevant certifications such as CISSP, CISM, or Azure Security Engineer are a plus.
