IAM Engineer
Glocomms are partnered with a leading financial service provider to build out their IAM division within Security Services in the search for an IAM Engineer who will focus on integrating application within the ForgeRock Identity Suite by utilizing OAuth and custom scopes, whilst collaborating with cross-functional development teams.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage and configure IAM systems, focusing on ForgeRock Identity products, to ensure seamless identity management processes.
- Design and implement custom integrations, workflows, and rules across tools using Agile methodologies.
- Plan, implement, enforce, and review security policies and procedures tailored to Identity and Access Management (IAM) requirements.
- Handle access requests and issue tickets for both internal and external customers.
- Lead efforts to diagnose and resolve system issues that may impact enterprise production environments.
- Oversee project progress through all phases, from design and build to testing and cutover.
- Report on control execution, gather evidence, and ensure proper control mechanisms are in place.
- Work closely with IT and business teams to implement technical solutions that align with organizational needs.
- Maintain systems to ensure best practices for user access authorization and control are upheld.
- Research and recommend improvements to procedures and systems to strengthen overall security.
- Assist in conveying security policies and procedures to users, ensuring understanding and compliance.
- Provide assistance to internal and external users with multi-platform security access issues and requests.
- Identify or develop tools and methods to monitor and manage risk effectively.
- Provide support to management on special projects and other ad-hoc duties as needed.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or other related field, or relevant experience in a commercial environment.
- 6+ Years of experience in IAM, InfoSec, and general security operations.
- Industry recognized certifications (CISSP, ITIL, etc)
